Josts started operations with the manufacturing of kerosene operated table fans in 1907. Over the years, the company has pioneered various global technologies in India including equipment for telecom industry, electrical test and measuring equipment, material handling products like forklift and battery operated vehicles, surface finishing products, sound and vibration instrumentation, process parameter measurement, environmental simulation test equipment and electronic & electromechanical components.
